Trezzit Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Trezzit LLC ("Trezzit", "we"), an Arizona limited liability company. By creating an account or using Trezzit you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Trezzit #
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
2. Your account #
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at support@trezzit.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
3. What Trezzit is, and isn't #
Trezzit records your personal and shared expenses, item by item, and works out who owes whom. It doesn't hold, send or receive money, and it isn't a bank, payment service or financial adviser. A settlement in Trezzit is a record of a payment you made elsewhere. Balances are only as accurate as the bills people enter, so check them before you pay. AI receipt reading and expense sorting can make mistakes; review what they produce.
4. Your content #
What you put into Trezzit (bills, notes, receipts, names) stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it as needed to run Trezzit for you and the people you share it with, including through the providers in our Privacy Policy. When you add a bill to a group, its members can see it, and it stays in the group for them even if you leave or delete your account.
Only add other people's details that you're entitled to share, and only for splitting expenses with them.
5. Acceptable use #
Don't use Trezzit to harass anyone, to post illegal content or other people's private information, to send spam or unwanted invitations, to break the law, to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, to probe or overload our systems, or to resell or copy the service. Connected AI apps act for you, so these rules apply to what they do too. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report a problem to support@trezzit.com; we aim to act on reports within 24 hours.
6. Connected AI apps #
If you connect an AI app (such as Claude or ChatGPT), it can read and change your Trezzit data within the access you approve. That app's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it does with the data. You can disconnect it any time.
7. Prices #
Trezzit is free today. If we add paid features, we'll show the price before you pay, and paid features in our mobile apps will be sold through the app store.
8. Ending your account #
You can delete your account at any time in the app (see the Privacy Policy for what that does). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering Trezzit, with notice where we reasonably can.
9. Disclaimers #
Trezzit is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we're not responsible for payments between users or for decisions made using its balances.
10. Limitation of liability #
To the extent the law allows, Trezzit LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
11. Changes #
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with its effective date and tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using Trezzit after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
12. Law #
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, except where the law of the country you live in gives you consumer protections that can't be waived.
13. Apple App Store #
If you got Trezzit from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and Trezzit LLC, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to support the app or responsibility for claims about it; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
